PEOPLE’S OMBUDSMAN TO GET THE LEGITIMATE RIGHTS FULFILLED TO ALL

People's Ombudsman

We see people approaching various Government offices, Tahsildar office, local body offices, Revenue department, VAO office, Revenue inspector, RTO office, Sub-Registrar office, pension office, Building approval office (MMDA), ROC, RD, OL offices, Income Tax, GST, customs, DGFT offices, judiciary etc. seeking various approvals, clearances, licenses, certificate etc.  But we observe that at each offices, to get the work done, people have to pay bribe right from peon to higher officials. Corruption is rampant in all government offices. Even if people want to approach police for any protection there too bribery and corruption is rampant.  People are afraid of approaching or even to see any government servant as they fear that they may put some flimsy and punished.

1. In case of ministers, MLA, MLCs, MPs, they are involving in corruption in getting various government tender contracts to them or get commission from the contractors for giving them contract or use binami contractors and get the contracts.  These contractors use low quality material for executing contracts like road laying, bridges, houses and bribe the officials and make huge profits. Also there are various people’s welfare schemes that government at centre and states announce from time to time in Government Gazette. But these schemes are not brought to the knowledge of those people to whom it is meant and these ministers and government servants involved make false documents showing executed the project and siphon the money allotted for each scheme. Whereas those under privileged tribal, SC, ST, People below poverty line, poor landless farmers etc. for whose upliftment these welfare schemes are made by the government do not get any benefit nor such schemes come to their knowledge.Also when people approach banks for getting various government announced loan schemes including education loan, mudhra loan etc. they deny sanction to the people and in many cases they demand commission for grant of loans.
   
    

2. To make the people to get their legitimate rights from the government schemes and to get various licenses, approvals, registrations, sanctions, certificates in time without any bribery and to make government servants including ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, bankers to fulfill their duties honestly without involving in corruption and bribery and highlight them their misuse of power and position is only adding sins and karmas to their karma account, Government under Government Social Responsibility should take measures to appoint an independent body of PEOPLE’S OMBUDSMAN under an act of Parliament for each assembly constituency level throughout the country.   
   
    

3. The members of these People’s Ombudsman should be appointed by a special independent committee consists of representatives from Ward Resident Association, NGOs, Press and media personnel, retired judges, retired officials from Police, Defence, CBI, ED, CVC.  These People’s Ombudsman should be given powers to conduct enquiries against any public servant against whom public raises compliant and pass orders punishing them for their criminal offence.
   
    

4. If any citizen is aggrieved by the act of any public servant for seeking bribe or for delaying the grant of approvals, licenses demanding bribe for clearance, or if any minister, MP, MLA, MLC, ward member is found involving in corruption in misappropriating the funds allotted for various government welfare schemes, they can complain this to People’s Ombudsman. The people’s Ombudsman will keep the details of complainant confidential and they investigate the complaint in detail on their own and caught hold of the culprit and take appropriate legal action in passing orders of criminal punishment to them.
   
    

5. The object of this people’s ombudsman is not to create a  fear among government servants for taking legal action against them but to make them to do their duties honestly, diligently without taking bribes or involving in corruption as this socially enable the public to get the necessary benefit of the government schemes to reach the needy that will contribute to uplift their economic status and spiritually make them to fulfill their duties perfectly that will release all their karmas and make them to move faster in their path of attaining jeevanmukti, which is the ultimate object of this human birth.
   
    

6. These efforts taken by the people of India in raising their voice to the government, the politicians, government servants who are involved in implementing this formation of PEOPLE’S OMBUDSMAN and those government servants honestly fulfilling their duties to people without any bribery and corruption and who enable the people to get their legitimate rights fulfilled, such people will release all their karmas and move in the path to attain Jeevanmukti.
